About SafeAlert Labs

When there is an emergency, everyone should be notified.

We make emergency alerting easy for offices, job sites, events, and schools, built around one idea: the people you’re responsible for should hear from you fast, and you should know they’re okay.

We care about the people, not the directory.

Think about who is actually on a property on an ordinary Tuesday. Staff, of course. Also the electrician who started this morning, the driver at the loading dock, a visitor waiting in the lobby, a parent in the pickup line. Most of them aren’t in anyone’s HR system and never will be. They still deserve to know when something is wrong.

So we don’t start from a company directory. We start from whoever is there, and we make it easy for every one of them to get on the list.

A construction worker on a job site reads a SafeAlert text on his phone.

Sending the alert is only half of it.

A message going out isn’t the same as a person being safe. What the people in charge need to know is who’s okay, who needs help, and who hasn’t answered yet.

That’s why every alert asks for a reply. People text back SAFE or HELP, and the answers fill in on screen as they arrive. Anyone who asks for help goes to the top of the list, with a button to call them.

Easy tools get used.

We believe this more than anything else. A safety system only helps the people who are on it, and nobody gets on a system that makes them download an app, make a password, or sit through training.

So there’s nothing to install. People scan a QR code, type their name and number, and they’re signed up in under a minute. Alerts arrive as ordinary texts and emails, on the phone they already carry.

The same goes for whoever sends the alert. It’s one screen on a phone, with templates for the situations you’d expect, because it may be sent by someone having the worst day of their year.

A festival-goer reads an event alert on her phone near the stage and food trucks.

The alert always goes out.

Emergency alerts are never delayed or blocked, for any reason. It’s a rule we don’t bend when we build.

How we work.

We work through security integrators: the local teams who already know your buildings, walk your sites, and understand the risks you face. They set SafeAlert Labs up for you and support it as part of your security program, so you have someone nearby who knows your property, with our platform behind them.

There are three versions of the platform. SafeSite is for workplaces and properties, SafeEvent is for gatherings where the crowd changes every time, and SafeCampus is for schools.

We’d like to hear about your property.

Tell us what you’re looking after and who’s there. We’ll walk you through an alert from start to finish.
